Rod Benders has been a family passion and hobby since the early 1970s. It started with Royal Hilliard and Kevin's uncle Richard. The passion was passed onto Kevin Hilliard at a young age. He began to build his own cars and help friends and family with fixing and restoring their cars. This hobby took shape over a 40 year span and in 2022, Kevin decided to create the Rod Benders Brand.

Rod Benders started out in the small town of Independence Oregon. They began by offering standard maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups. Rod Benders Classics transitioned to a full service restoration garage over time. We currently can do the whole restoration of any car, from the frame up.
